There are a couple things so different with a Goode than with every other ski company. All of the other companies have tried to build a ski better than a Goode. They’ve copied the shape, the edges, the texture, the flex, the thickness and on and on but the one thing they have not copied is the PROCESS.Goode is the only major ski company that uses PRE-PREG carbon.PRE-PREG means the fibers that the core is wrapped with (nowadays these fibers are carbon) are pre-impregnated with catalyzed epoxy (epoxy that has the hardener already mixed in). This creates a 60/40 ratio of 60% fiber and 40% resin. This is very close to an ideal ratio. If the percentage of resin increases, strength decreases and brittleness increases, both are detrimental to high performance.Being that the carbon fiber is impregnated with a catalyzed epoxy, it must be stored in a freezer to prevent it from hardening. Once a Goode is in the mold, it stays there for roughly three hours (180 minutes) at a very high temperature. This creates a very hard, cured epoxy matrix. The harder the material, the higher the frequency the material performs at and the faster the ski responds and returns to its original shape. An additional benefit of this long mold time is the material is totally cured when it is removed from the mold. This means the ski will not change shape once it’s out of the mold. All of the other major ski companies use a lower temperature cure along with a ten-minute molding time (estimate). This lower temperature cure creates a softer matrix and thus a slower response/recovery time.Another disadvantage of this ten minute, lower temperature curing time is that the ski is what is referred to in the industry as “green”.How the ski is supported after it comes out of the mold after this ten minute molding time is very critical.A “green” ski can and will distort as it finishes cooling and curing unless it is properly supported which is not typically the case. All of the other major ski companies can build eighteen skis in the time it takes Goode to build one yet they sell theirs for roughly the same price as a Goode!Where they can take in a potential $18,000.00 (18 x a $1,000.00 ski) per hour, Goode has the potential to take in anywhere from $1,290.00 to $1,490.00 during this same time period. These other ski companies have zero incentive to build a ski with Goode's process. In fact, they can't afford to! Instead, they all are trying to build a ski to compete with Goode (which holds all the WORLD RECORDS) but mass produce it at a far cheaper cost. If Goode were to price his skis according to this 18 to 1 formula, they would sell for $23,220.00 for the 9900 series and $26,820.00 for the Wide Ride! The reality of this is that a Goode is truly a bargain, everything else is not even in the same ballpark! As Dave Goode says, "GO GOODE OR GO HOME"!
The new GOODE lineup!
The NANO "twist"TM features advanced NANO Carbon/Resin technology, an Industry first!
Carbon NANO Tubes are no larger than 1 billionth of an inch and help make a lighter, stronger and faster water ski.
Another Industry first is the longitudinal "twist" that is designed into the ski. This "twist" creates different rockers on both sides of the ski.
As skiers, we turn our "on-side" with our back foot and our "off-side" with our front foot. The distance between your turning foot and the fin are not the same thus creating a different leverage ability.
The NANO "twist"TM places the rocker in the correct spot for each turn and virtually removes the idea of an "Off-Side" turn.
Here is what skiers are saying:
"The NANO "twist"TM is sweet! The best ski I have ever been on! The "twist" allows the ski to come through the turn on each side quicker and smoother allowing you to stay more open with less rotation." - Dave Miller, 34mph World Record Holder - 2010 Big Dawg Champion
"Goode has done it again! I ran a practice Personal Best on the NANO "twist"TM the first day I skied on it! It is so easy to ski! It is unreal!" - Chad Scott, National Competitor - World Record Driver
Features * All New Model Featuring NANO CARBON/RESIN Construction * ”twist” Design – BI-Rocker Technology * Asymmetric Design – Right, Left * 3 Shapes - Traditional, MID-RIDE, WIDE-RIDE * 3 Models - NANO-32 (up to 32mph/52k) NANO-34 (34mph/55k) and NANO-36 (36mph/58k) * 3 Flexes in Each Length * Digitally Printed - White Smoke Graphics * PowerShell – PowerPlate Ready * Precision Finbox – Standard Black Fin * Handcrafted in the USA * Each NANO – “twist” comes with a 5 year warranty * 30 Day Money Back Guarantee
Add PowerShellTM Boots, PowerPlateTMor rubber boots to your ski order.
NANO "twist"TM MID-RIDE - Dimensionally, the NANO MID fits right between the NANO WIDE-RIDE and the Traditional Shaped NANO.
The all new 9960TM is the next generation of the World Record performing 9900. In 2010, both Chris Parrish (2@43'off) and Regina Jaquess (2@41'off) set new World Records on their Goode 9900s. The 9960TM can be ordered with inserts for all popular binding hole patterns.
The 9960TM features aerospace grade Carbon Fiber and a new resin system. It is part of Goode's Asymmetric Series and features three skis, in three shapes (Traditional, MID-RIDE and WIDE-RIDE), three models (32mph, 34mph and 36mph) and in a variety of lengths. Each 9960TM is designed for a specific skier, Right-Foot Forward and Left-Foot Forward. The unique construction of the 9960TM skis compensates for the flex and torsional differences introduced by different skiing styles and virtually removes the idea of an "Off-Side" turn.
9960TM MID-RIDE - The MID creates fluid starts to each turn, like the traditional 9960TM, and finishes each turn "clean", like the WIDE-RIDE. The MID is a great choice for skiers who are undecided between the WIDE-RIDE and traditional 9960TM.
9960TM WIDE-RIDE - The WIDE-RIDE has an extra wide forebody to help provide support at the buoy while running short-line.
9960TM Traditional - The traditional 9960TM shape holds both the Men's and Women's World Records. It is a proven performer and creates a larger turn radius than the MID and the WIDE.
Here is what skiers are saying:
"I loved my 9900's and the new 9960 is even better!" - Nick Parsons, World Cup Champion
"Very fast and smooth! Turns very easily." - Todd Kuykendall, 2010 Mens 4 Division National Champion

The FIRETM can be ordered with inserts for all popular binding hole patterns.
Backed by the Industry's best 5 year warranty, the FIRETM Series will provide many years of high performance enjoyment.

GOODE PowerPlateTM Double Boot System
At GOODE, we now offer two new binding systems for skiers who do not want to use Hard-Shell boots, yet want to take performance to the next level. We have done away with the “old fashion” binding system that needs to be screwed into the ski. We now offer four models of binding systems. The PowerShell™ System, PowerPlate™ Rubber Boot System, Universal PowerPlate™ System and the traditional Performance Series High Wrap Bindings.
GOODE PowerPlate™ Rubber Boot System
We have taken the GOODE Performance Series High Wrap (Wiley Style), which is used by many tournament water skiers, removed the aluminum plates, and attached the boots directly to a CARBON Fiber plate. This new system is not only lighter weight than most systems currently on the market, but using the Power Plate™ Rubber Boot System allows a ski to free flex. It does not create flat spots in a ski as does traditional screwed on bindings - an important element in skiing.
The application is simple. The PowerPlate™ is designed not to release from the ski. A skier will simply continue to release from their boot system as they were originally designed.
WHY USE A GOODE PowerPlate™ System
One key benefit of the PowerPlate™ is that it allows a skier to make Micro Adjustments to his/her binding placement. Often, 1/6th of an inch in binding placement can make a big difference in performance. With old traditional bindings that are screwed on, drilling and screws prohibit you from drilling within 1/4” of another hole!
The CARBON Fiber plate is a Free Flexing plate moving with the ski, not against it allowing a natural flex as you round that next buoy.
The GOODE PowerPlate™ System is easily upgradeable to the GOODE PowerShell™ System. Inter-Loc™ will already be installed on the ski for an easy transition. When you are ready, the GOODE PowerShell™ System will take your skiing to the next level. The GOODE PowerShell™ System is currently being used by the top 7 of 10 skiers in the world!
The GOODE PowerPlate™ Rubber Boot System can be custom sized using the rubber overlays.

This limited warranty extends only to the original consumer who purchased a new ski from GOODE. In no event shall GOODE be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation exclusions may not apply. All implied warranties or merchantability or otherwise are limited in duration to one year following the date of purchase. If a defect arises in the ski within the limited warranty period, the user should promptly contact GOODE to receive a Return Authorization # (RA#). GOODE will not be responsible for any costs, such as, but not limited to, removing bindings, remounting bindings, handling, shipping or insurance. If a ski is replaced, the replacement product is covered only for the remainder of the original limited warranty period dating from the purchase of the original ski. Furthermore, if a ski that needs to be replaced is a discontinued model, it will be replaced with a ski of comparative performance. Please allow four weeks for completion of repairs or of replacement and return of the product. This limited warranty gives the owner specific legal rights and possibly other rights which vary from state to state.
[1] Skis mounted with FOGMANN brand bindings are not covered under our warranty. GOODE feels that these bindings are dangerous, from a skier's safety standpoint, because they do not release. And since the FOGMANN brand bindings do not release, excess force is placed on the ski during a fall.
GOODE started from the ground up to design a water ski that is lighter and stronger, providing better flex control and hydrodynamics than anything on the market today.
GOODE is the first and only company to totally integrate Aerospace Carbon Fiber Composite technology into water skis.
The pure Carbon Fiber construction makes GOODE Skis the industry's lightest while still having the highest flex/torsion ratios.
Weighing less than 3 lbs., GOODE Skis have twice the physical properties of conventional water skis. GOODE Skis will not breakdown or change flex over their lifetime.

GOODE's Two-Week Demo Program for 9800 model Water Skis and PowerShellTM Boots
We invite you to try before you buy!
Our demo program is for water skiers who want to try the GOODE Carbon Fiber water skis and/or the GOODE PowerShellTM Boot System. Unlike other manufacturers, GOODE builds newskis for you to try. We don’t just send "Demo Skis". Our innovative products and Demo program must be working, because very few skis are ever returned. Here is how GOODE’s two-week demo offer works:
If you would like to try either a GOODE water ski or PowerShell boot order online or call Toll Free (from USA and Canada) 1-800-480-0090 weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST
If you order by telephone, a customer service representative will take your "Skier Profile". If you’re interested in trying a ski - the model, length and flex will be recommended for you. Skiers interested in the PowerShell Hard Shell Binding are sized and given an overview of the systems operation. The Demo Fee for each item is listed below. If you keep the products, the demo fee is applied towards your purchase.
Before the order can be filled, you will be asked to give a credit card account number with expiration date. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The item(s) requested for evaluation or demonstration will be charged to your credit card along with the appropriate shipping and handling costs (if applicable). The transaction is treated as a purchase.
Your order is processed, a new ski and/or PowerShell is made for you and shipped to you.
From the time you receive your order, you will have two (2) weeks to evaluate the product(s). We encourage you to contact GOODE with any questions or concerns during your Demo Period.
If you are not satisfied with the performance of the ski and /or PowerShell System we ask you to call GOODE'S Customer Service Department before returning the product. Many times their tech support staff can assist and rectify customer concerns. If it is necessary to return the product, GOODE's Customer Service Department will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). To ensure your proper credit; all products must be returned with a RA#.
If you are satisfied with the product(s), keep it. It’s that simple. Your card was charged for the total amount including shipping/handling at the time the order was processed.
If you return product(s) with a RA#, you will receive a credit to your charge card for the amount of the product(s), minus the "DEMO FEE" for each product and the shipping/handling fee.
You are responsible to treat the product(s) as if they were your own during the Demo Period. Any loss, damage or excessive wear will be charged additionally.
GOODE Ski Technologies reserves the right to change it demo program and pricing at any time. Please call customer service for further details.
